MR Statik Group was involved in extension project of new house for orangutan in Dresden Zoo.

The final design was not only to be aesthetically pleasing, but also provide conditions as close to natural as possible for the orangutans.

To achieve this goals, increased complexity building was design, shaped like a circle with a 60m diameter. We had to construct most of the reinforcement in the shape of an arch. Fortunately, Allplan can handle with this task effortessly.
